This is a strain I order any time it becomes available. Nice chunky buds, super dense with beautiful orange hairs running throughout, the kind of flower you feel bad picking off the stem. This one takes an extra bit of elbow grease to bust up, as you push it down in the bowl it springs back up like rising dough. What I love about this strain is that it has that unmistakably distinct flavor that I look for in all Skookum strains, as it brings me back to the first time I tried Mint Chocolate Chip or Strawberry Jerry and thinking, I never knew weed could taste this good. It’s the reason why anytime I buy other flower, I find myself chasing that flavor and ultimately end up coming back to Skookum. We’ve all had flower that is harsh and burns on the inhale – this is the antithesis of that experience. A 9.5/10 for me.

Death Bubba:

Meet Death Bubba, a potent strain with a THC level of 26%. It delivers a rush of energy, followed by deep relaxation and introspection, making it great for stress, anxiety, and insomnia. But be warned, it can lead to an almost death-like sleep.

Death Bubba has earthy, lemony, piney, and herbal flavours and induces feelings of euphoria, happiness, hunger, and relaxation. It’s not for inexperienced users, but if you’re up for the challenge, give this or Death Cookies a try!

Truly the nicest version of this strain that I’ve personally seen, and I’ve seen a lot of mid Death Bubbas over the years. The fact that this was grown by an expert hand is no surprise once you open the tin. The aromas jump out at you before the lid is even fully off. Super pungent aromas forebode this freight train in potency. The buds shimmer with a beautiful layer of trichomes like it’s been sprinkled in a light dusting of snow. My advice would be to take it slow because this hard-hitting Indica is bound to ease you into a nice, comfortable slumber. Perfect for a relaxing night after work, this is what we would call a KO.! For me this was a 10/10. 

Death Star OG:

Experience an out-of-this-world high with Death Star OG! This potent strain is a cross of Death Starr x Bubba Kush and has a fuel-forward, dank aroma that’s impossible to miss.

Despite the challenges of growing kush genetics, the LSO Crew has expertly cultivated a specimen that’s dense, chunky, and perfectly cured. It induces classic couchlock effects and a full-bodied buzz, making it great for anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

The stone is heavy, gooey, and endlessly relaxing, with tremendous flavour that burns to pillowy near-white ash. Don’t just take our word for it – try it out for yourself and see why Death Star OG is a real standout!

This strain boasts a 28% THC level, which is on the higher end for a Skookum strain, however, THC percentage is only one of many factors in determining what constitutes a good strain, as I’ve had Skookum strains with around 20-21% that were absolutely fire as well. The first thing you notice is the darkness of these buds, just a beautiful dark purple covering these fat nugs. Busts up nice and fluffy like my favorite Skookum strains do – not an overwhelming odor, more subtly sweet. Super nice and smooth flavor on the exhale, which is what makes a Skookum strain stand out from the crowd. Despite being an Indica, this is a strain I can get with in the daytime without being too burnt out. For me, this is an 8/10.  

Pink Chapo:

Pink Chapo is a strain that delivers a long-lasting and full-bodied high. It induces a lifted sense of euphoria and sociability, followed by a soothing body high that helps you relax without any aches or pains.

As the high progresses, you’ll feel sleepy and doze off before you know it. Pink Chapo has citrus, earthy, floral, sweet, and woody flavours/aromas and induces cerebral, relaxing, sleepy, and uplifting effects. It’s great for stress, anxiety, and insomnia. Give it a try and experience the blissful effects of Pink Chapo!

Truly gorgeous to look at, again looking like it was plucked from a field lightly dusted in snow. This one has a nice dark purplish hue in the buds, almost a shame to bust it up. The nugs are incredibly dense, takes a bit of extra effort to break down but is worth it in the end. A really nice high, not too much of a wallop, more of a calm and blissful high compared to a Death Bubba, for example. Often Skookum strains have an unmistakably distinct flavor, although this one didn’t have a flavor/aroma that stood out to me, the high was consistent with what Skookum is known to deliver. For me, this was a 7.5/10.

West Coast Pink:

Looking for a hard-hitting indica with legit OG lineage? WC Pink is a perfect choice! It’s highly resinous, has a fuel-forward funk aroma, and induces a deeply relaxing and borderline sedating high.

Grown organically in living soil by Charlie Brown himself, this strain has shades of forest green, violet, and copper, and buds that are seriously caked up.

WC Pink is perfect for Kush-heads, inducing heavyweight effects that’ll paste you to the furniture. It has fuel, earth, herbal, and pine flavours/aromas and is great for stress, anxiety, and chronic pain.

West Coast Pink has a hearty and wild aesthetic, looks like throwback weed, like something I would have smoked in high school. Despite that, it is clearly very well grown and hulked out in bud size. Savoury and musky gas with a buttered toast flavour (that’s right – buttered toast). One of the stickier strains you will come across. Extra points for the nostalgia factor in appearance. Compared to other Skookum strains I’ve had, for me this is an 8/10.
